Wow....Time flies!!

  I apologize to all that I have not been diligent in keeping this updated...but time flies!!  This has been a very white winter, snow snow and more snow, UGH!  Michael is an outside boy but is not a fan of playing in the snow, even in his cute snow pants and boots that Grandma Milligan got him at Christmas.  He has grown up so much in the last two months, and not just in size!  He has an amazing vocabulary and he even understands the context in how he uses them....like brrr cold feet.  He and daddy have fun playing and coloring during the day, they are certainly good buddies!  Jason has settled into his SAHD position, he has mastered the art of doing laundry, dishes, other housework and entertaining/watching Michael.  As usual last semester ended great for him, Dean's List again!! 
  I have been working with another mom to put together a  support group for families of children with CHD or acquired HD.  Mended Little Hearts sucessfully lifted off with our Charter meeting February 18th.  We had a great attendance for a first meeting, 9 families!!  It was so wonderful to hear their amazing stories and to find some comraderie, we are going to have some lasting connections with some of these families I can already tell.  I am looking forward to getting a Heart Walk team together for Michael, and to see how many pledges we can get to help support research for HD. 
  I am hoping spring arrives soon as we are traveling in 2 weeks to Minnesota so Michael can see his cousins, aunt and grandparents....and so I can see my family too :)  And before we know it Michael will be turning 2................oh my!!
